The region of Le Marche is often quoted as the best of undiscovered Italy. Marche is situated on the Italian Adriatic east coast and has borders with five other regions including Tuscany and Umbria. It has glorious coastal beaches, stretching to inland rolling hills and backed by the Apennine mountains. Marche is divided into five provinces and our house is situated in the Ancona province close to the picturesque village of Poggio San Marcello.

Casale del Molino is an estate of 12,700 sqm (3.14 acres or 1.27 hectares), with a well proportioned three bedroomed former classic Italian farmhouse of 140 sqm, (1,507 sqft) which is shown to have existed in local maps dated 1739.

The house stands in terraced gardens and woodland in an entirely private setting with panoramic views across the valley, vineyards and the hills beyond.

Casale del Molino has been completely restored and now enjoys all modern amenities including full double glazing; gas central heating; modern kitchen, two bathrooms, remote controlled entrance gates and driveway lighting.

The estate lies very close to three major vineyards producing Verdicchio wine – Fazi Battaglia, Moncaro and Sartarelli – winners of the "Best white wine in the World 1999".
